2018.03.27 “Sazaedo” received a star from the Michelin Green Guide !
This was the first time Fukushima Prefecture appeared in the Michelin Green Guide Japan!
In Aizuwakamatsu City, “Sazaedo” has a double helix staircase where people going up and people going down do not pass each other. This is a rare structure even internationally and was awarded a Michelin ★ along with the “Tsuruga Castle” which the symbol of Aizuwakamatsu City, “Oyakuen”, and “Higashiyama Onsen.
Aizu is close to Nikko and is the entrance to the sightseeing areas in Tohoku!
(Aizu is an area in Fukushima Prefecture with many unique tourist attractions!)
In addition to Aizuwakamatsu City, there are many more sightseeing spots in the Aizu area!
Kitakata City has the “Shingukumano Shrine”, and Kitashiobara Village’s “Goshikinuma Konumagun” was also awarded a ★ from the Michelin Green Guide.
